Reptile
Reptiles (also called 'herps') are tetrapods and amniotes, animals whose embryos are surrounded by an amniotic membrane. Reptiles were defined as the set of animals that includes crocodiles, alligators, tuatara, lizards, snakes, amphisbaenians and turtles, grouped together as the class Reptilia.
